Eye-tracking data of 20 participants driving a car over pedestrian crossings in Weimar, Germany
Dataset of eyetracking data from a naturalistic eye-tracking study in 2021. The dataset was collected during a study with 20 participants, which drove a car over six different pedestrian crossings in Weimar, Germany. Several factors were recorded such as the fixations of different areas of interest and sourrinding traffic conditions. Data collection was supervised by the Chair of Transporty System Planning at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, Germany.
The present study investigates the visual attention of car drivers at pedestrian crossings. A predefined route was developed for the experiments:
