To facilitate situational awareness in UAVs using radio waves, baseband algorithms must be verified using high-quality measured datsets that reflect real-world scenarios.
This dataset contains radio channel measurements between stationary (ground- and rooftop-mounted) and mobile (UAV- and vehicle-mounted) radio transceivers in a multi-static setup. A number of dynamic passive objects were present in the measured scenarios with recorded movement trajectories, allowing for verification of radar detection, estimation and tracking algorithms.
These measurements were carried out at the campus of the Technische Universität Ilmenau in summer 2024. The dataset contains the measured calibrated channel frequency responses, recorded RTK positions of all radio nodes and passive objects.

This data record contains a number of directories that contain a certain measurement run. Each directory contains a number of sub-directories corresponding to each radio link or passive object. A more detailed description of the measurement parameters, scenarios, directory and file structure and example code snippets can be found in the file named "documentation.pdf" and also at the corresponding (possibly more quickly updated) website documentation accessible at: https://ems-tu-ilmenau.github.io/dataset/multi-node-uav-sensing/
